Derek Carr vs Teddy Bridgewater
|
Look I've been seeing a whole lot about how Teddy isn't a can't- miss prospect. Regardless as to your opinion about him, we need to realize something. The only team in the past twentyish years who have been blessed with a can't-miss prospect is the Colts.
Everyone else, every SINGLE quarterback drafted since Manning, excluding Luck, has been a gamble. All of them. When we talk about QBs, you look at franchise-potential, not once-in-a-generation potential. Otherwise, you'll only draft a QB once in a generation, if you're lucky enough to be properly positioned for him. Take Teddy, Mariota, Carr, whoever. Joe Shmoe out of Northwest South State. Whoever has the ability to be a franchise guy.
