Last year we averaged 15.6 ppg, which ranked last.  This year, we're 8th or 9th averaging 25 ppg-or 10 ppg more than last year.

 

Prior to this year, the best record under Bradley was 4-12.  This year, we've won five and still have three games left.  Unlike previous years, we're actually relevant in December....MID December at that.  When was the last time that happened?

 

Many people seem to focus more on what Blake Bortles still needs to work on or the untimely turnovers than his improvements in footwork, throwing mechanics, etc. They need to stop doing that. The statistic we should be looking at is the touchdown/interception ratio. As a rookie, Blake was intercepted 17 times. Several of those were pick sixes. That was more than one per game. PPG is certainly looking better, but I will be much happier about it when we have a good kicker who is nearly perfect on PAT attempts.

 

To answer your question, it was the year we had NFC East and AFC East teams on our schedule. We played against the Colts, Redskins, Raiders, and Patriots in December IIRC.
