Also, as an aside, there is still an ongoing discussion here on whether he was right or wrong in going for it on 4th and 1 from the 28 against the Colts a few years ago. That argument will never die.

PF,  it's a tough call between 2001 and 2013.   Unless the Patriots somehow reach the Super Bowl this season,  I'll probably go with 2001 only because the season looked so bleak on paper before it even started.  

 

Because of the Tom Brady injury in the first half of Game # 1 in 2008,   that season probably should be included in the discussion, even though the Patriots didn't make the playoffs that season despite an 11-5 record.  While the Patriots schedule was favorable,  what other HC would find a way to get 11 wins out of a Matt Cassel led team???   Very few, if any in the history of the NFL would be my answer.   

 

Congrats on reaching Game # 7 of your APBA Baseball League Championship series.   I was fortunate to win the APBA League ( I'm in ) World Series in 7 games this year,  after losing the W.S. the previous 2 seasons.   The team I had last season was better on paper but this year's team responded as well as any team I've put together.
