Can you believe Bortles was almost a Texan?

Quote:Well the relevance is in that GMs trade up for all sorts of positions for all sorts of different reasons.

No one would do it for a RB, barely using first rounders anymore, until Gurley.

ATL traded a lot for a WR.... -shrug-

Moves have been made by teams to get pass rushers... which is what Watt's skillset was. It is why they moved him to Dline and eventually from inside to outside.

It is why he is able to play DT, DE, in 3-4 or 4-3 and probably OLB in a 3-4 as well...

Nobody knew what Watt would do? He was drafted pretty high.... competent GMs probably had an idea...

And I'm not wrong. Watt was drafted as DE. And lines up at DE.

Officially listed as a DE so what he was listed as formerly matters not.

The Jaguars traded up because their GM was desperate for a QB. Made a horrible decision to draft a guy who was sliding after TN made the terrible decision to draft Locker. Knee jerk.

They should have stayed where they were and selecting the best player available. Likely Kerrigan the guy mocked to us who did pretty well in DC.

Your smugness in calling someone's post "untrue" seemed odd. So I pointed out your own untruths.

And even still you try to argue for arguing sake, and totally lose out. If you can what if, someone else can too. What if the Jags traded up for Watt. Gene Smith would have truly been a genious and might still have a job.

Whew... that would suck.

Anywho... had fun. Gotta run.
Smugness?

Grow the hell up.

Nobody knew Watt would make the impact he has. NOBODY. If you can't understand that's what the point was...you're the one with the big issue. And I 'totally lost out'? Oh God! I'm so distraught.
