The Jags have shown some signs of getting tougher with players instead of looking at past contributions- Daryl Smith, Montell Owens, Rashean Mathis, et al- and it's likely they'll do the same with MJD, IMO. It's a new era here.

 

There's no way I'd keep him. I'd rather see that money go to a FA OL piece and then pick up a RB through the draft, UDFA or from cuts. RBs aren't hard to find.

 

I don't know what he adds to the locker room. either. Gus and the FO will assess that but is he still bitter about his ill-advised holdout and a negative force in there? Who knows. What we do know is that he's aging, has an injury history, is slowing down and, as Anchorman said, is fat.

 

Why would you want that? His prime is in the rear view mirror.

 

Draft the kid from Boston College with one of the Monroe picks and move on.
