Watch the games, Fowler was always putting pressure on the QB if he didn't get the sack and flew all over the field. He was the best pass rusher to come out last year and better than any of the pass rushers in this draft IMO. Lots of people on here always just look at his sack number.


He also didn't rush the passer on every play why his sack number isn't higher than it was. The guy was a disruptive force that teams had to scheme for

 

Not funny, just very stupid. Anyone who watches football should know statistics are very misleading and often meaningless. That includes the sack number. Dante Fowler's job description goes way beyond sacks and TFLs. It includes stuff you can't see on stat sheets. In addition, Fowler moved around at UF, playing both OLB and DE. So of course he was not supposed to meet the quarterback on every play.
