Bortles int killed the jags!
|
Quote:His INT's are frustrating and don't help, but the point is we've lost games when he's thrown for 4 and 5 touchdowns. Obviously he's the least of our worries. I wasn't implying that Bortles was our big, bigger or biggest concern.........of course the team has much larger issues to deal with. But the QB has to quickly learn to protect the ball, especially in the red zone. He is, at times, too predictable, and teams that study tape will use those tendencies to their advantage. I've seen several pick sixes where it was obvious that the defender knew where the pass was going. I don't care that his " interception percentage " is average.........an interception on the opponents side of the fifty yard line doesn't carry the same impact as a pick six, or an interception run back to the 15 with 2 seconds on the halftime clock. |
