Not bit in the sense that teeth are piercing my skin. But struck as in their mouth is coming in rapid contact with my body.

Gopher snakes have a tough time breaking the skin. I'm usually kneeling at a vine when I "discover" them though, not my favorite moment haha.

Honestly, I fear the dang hawks more than snakes, black widows, coyotes or bees. Once every few years I run across a bobcat or mountain lion. That's no joke, I get the pistol out quick when I see those tracks.
