Shorts is not as good as blackmon imo... but shorts is an assest to this team at this point.... I don't think we will be able to get the value out of him it would take to plug other holes if we did trade him...considering how long it generally takes for a wr to develope in this league, I don't think it would be all that good of a move to have to start from scratch on another cheap wr project.. ...I think some people consider this like the indy move of lettin garcon go, we don't have a wayne caliber reciver who will carry the load if shorts is gone...not to mention he isn't that expensive.... trading shorts would just create another hole in roster.... I understand we have a bunch of holes but y create more when u have at least something to build off of at this point.... imean look at teams like minn who had tons of picks last year but it still didn't completely materialize
