If Poz has a strength in pass coverage, it's good zone awareness. He may not be able to cover a fast TE down the seam, but he is often in position in zones to make INTs.


Whatever Poz's liabilities in coverage are, they may not be as pronounced in the total package as those he might be replaced with.
I hear ya... but, in my mind, other coaches would look to correct a deficiency that they see.


Why not go nickel and replace poz with a cb?


Tripp had a heck of a game against the clots. Why not give him a few more snaps, for crying out loud?


Or, if you want poz in, blitz him.


I just see the same base scheme that doesn't work continue to get exploited.
