Quote:Yea...the offensive explosion we've beared witness to this year is clearly the difference between Fisch and Olson. Definitely not the development of our second year starters on offense. Nah. No way. Really, going from the leagues' worst offensive coordinator to the second worse made all the difference in the world.
The offense is much better this year without a doubt. "Offseason Explosion," uh no. Dial that one back a bit IMO.

31 - that qualifies

34 - Defense scored 2 TDs and basically another one (21 point's credit to the D)

19 - (1 TD basically gifted by Special Teams punt return to the 5 yard line)

39 - that qualifies

51 - that qualifies (14 points credited to Defense/Special Teams)

I don't think it's actually an "Offensive Explosion" when there are only 3 games out of the whole season that were 30 points or more.

In the Buffalo game, the Defense produced more scoring points than the offense did. (although the Defense also allowed the Bills to score at will too)

The Colts game qualifies as an "Offensive Explosion." However, 14 of those 51 points went to the defense.

Incredible improvement over the past few years? Oh yes, absolutely!

Offensive Explosion? No, not in my mind.
