2015:

 

The Jaguars have allowed opposing QBs to complete 65.1% of their passes for 4049 yards, 28 TDs and 8 INTs.  They have allowed 1549 yards on the ground, 3.6 YPC and 14 TDs.  They have allowed opponents to convert 46.2% of 3rd downs.  We have 98 penalties on the season.  We have 34 sacks, 8 INTs and the TFL stat isn't showing up on ESPN.com.

 

There is your improvement on defense in 3 years.  Yes, lack of talent is a problem but I don't think this 2015 defense is THAT bad.  A defensive head coach should be getting more out of this roster than we have gotten this year.  I'm not expecting them to be a top 5 defense but I don't think middle of the pack is outrageous all things considered.

 

In terms of total yards they went from 27th, to 26th to 25th.  In terms of points allowed they went from 28th, to 26th to 31st.
