I will gladly take 1-2 mistakes a year from a coach over 15 years if you give me 4 sbs, and however many playoff appearances(I think 11?). Either way when you are 12-2 you can afford to have a little faith in your defense. Back to the point, if Gus posts a 4 win season next year he will have 16 wins in 64 tries, assuming we finish 5-11. A .25 Win rate!

 

FUN FACT: If Gus were to average 10 wins a season from now on, it would take a whopping 6, yes SIX years to eclipse a .500 win% mark overall, and a 9-7 record in his 7th season to finish at a.506 win rate.

Even @ 11 per, it wouldn't be until year 5 until Gus has over .500 as a coach, all to cover up the first 3 years of Gusball.
