1. He's getting old and has lost a step. You can make excuses all you want, but when he gets wiggle room and out into open space, you can just see it in his legs. It's not there anymore.

3. He kind of dictates the overall playcalling and gameplan for us, and IMHO, needs to go simply because whoever ends up getting the QB job needs to be the man in charge and running the show.

4. He just needs to go. He gave us 1600 yards a few years ago, his best single season performance of his career, and it only netted us five victories. He deserves better than that. He should be on a better team.

3. Disagree.  We've seen a lot more balance out of the offense of late with him on the field.  His decreased production has removed the notion that he dictates the way we call plays.  2 or 3 years ago that would have been the case.  Not today.

Yeah, I have to agree with FBT on this one. Pretty sure he isn't dictating anything on the 2014 Jags and I'm not entirely sure that he would get the lions share of the carries on any Super Bowl caliber team anyway.

 

I expect he'll be back for a reasonable price but the team will mix in young legs on running downs, with MJD getting the majority of work in the passing game. Heck, Todman's already in a timeshare with him this year for carries.
