Which Jags players make top 100?
|
Quote:Robinson and Hurns should both make it. Double digit TDs by a WR is a big deal, both of them have had incredible years and both should be recognized. Bortles should make it, too, especially if he stays first or second on TD passes, but with the bias against Jaguars players I wouldn't be surprised for him to get snubbed. Telvin is a long shot because 4-3 LBs rarely get recognition, he'd probably need a couple of INTs in this last game to make it.I know Bortles is the best thing since sliced bread for us at QB, but I am not sure that objectively hes a top ten QB. And I know people are coming with Pitchforks saying he is top 10 in yardage and top 10 in TDs. He also nearly the worst in INT. His completion percentage is below average, and I would bet he leads the league in pick 6's and probably overall T/O's too. Thats why his passer rating is middle of the pack. Hes good, but guys like Matthew Stafford have had great years too in the past, and aren't as good as their stats suggest. All this said I think Bortles is somewhere in the 10-15ish range. But I don't think guys in that range make the top 100. Or rather if they do its at the bottom like the 90's. AR15 is the only one I think will make it. Maybe Telvin if his peers pay more attention than the media does. Bortles would be next on my list, but I don't think he makes it. Anyway, flame on guys. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. No way I'd still be alive after all that choking. |
