I actually am not opposed to this. He's getting up there in age, but a stop gap LEO? He had a bad year, but maybe Rex and the scheme were not a fit for him. He's put up great numbers, 14.5 sacks just last year.
On a 2 to 3 year front loaded deal, while I'm not sure it happens, at the same time, with our defensive struggles, I have no problem giving it a go with Mario Williams. Also, there won't be too many better pass rushers available, most of them dont make it to free agency. This could be a great compliment to Fowler and could really boost our pass rush. Im for it, atleast giving it a look. |
