Gus is coming back and there's nothing we can do about it but how has he instilled confidence in management? That's what I don't get.

The fact is, we still have a poor D line, and the strength we did have were hurt or misplayed(Odrick) in their roles. Odrick played the 3 in Miami, for whatever dumb reason he is a 4 here. This is either from Gus or Babich, either way our defense is inexcusable and the idea NO talent has been acquired in the last 3 years for the defense is a farce. I don't claim to have answers, but its pretty clear there isn't one that is clear cut on this coaching staff. ayou could argue maybe Marrone, or even Olson with what he did with the offense, but who knows. Fact is Gus is back, like it or not and likely leads to another sub 5 win season. Maybe we get a blockbuster draft and FA period and we buy a top 10 defense even Bradley cant muck up.
