Agree. Passing yard and TD numbers keep going up dramatically as time goes by.


30 TDs and nearly 4000yds are becoming close to "the norm".


12 QBs posted over 4000 yds (with 5 other QBs over 3800 and 3900 yds).


11 QBs posted 30 TDs or more (with 2 other QBs at 29 TDs). Heck, Dalton had 25 TDs and 3250 yds and missed almost 4 full games.


What used to be considered excellent passing numbers are now just about what should be expected.


45-50 TDs and 5250 yards are now "upper-echelon" and "elite" season totals. 3 QBs came REALLY close to 5000 yards this season alone.


To the topic of Winston:

As a rookie, yes, that's terrific. But a veteran QB should be expected to get around those totals these days.
