Washington is struggling because they've traded away picks like candy over the years (in several other deals) and have one of the worst cap situations in the league. Oh, and their front office has drafted terribly and has made poor signings. RGIII tearing his ACL is a big part of it, but you can't be afraid that Caldwell will do as poorly in building around his franchise talent and accumulating quality depth.

 

Just to be clear, though, you really wouldn't trade two first-rounders for the chance to draft Andrew Luck?
