Is this the year to trade up?
|
I honestly don't think Dave is willing to give away a 2nd round pick to trade up for a pass rusher or Dlineman.
From his words, we may think he'll be really aggressive in free agency, probably with more than one pass rusher (Vernon, Williams if he gets cut, Wilkerson etc) and a great safety (Gipson, Weddle...don't think Berry will be available unfortunately). He also said the draft appears to be loaded with great defensive linemen and linebackers so I guess he'd stay put to take Ramsey (if we don't get a FS in FA)or stay put or eventually trade down for a Dlineman or linebacker if we got one of the above mentioned safeties. I guess that judging after Free agency we'll have a good understanding of where we'll go with the draft. ![]() |
