Berry for the most part has been used in the box in the NFL, and while I do think he probably could play an ok makeshift FS I don't think it would be the impact single high centerfield FS that Dave obviously covets. 

 

I'm not writing off Berry as a possibility, but a scheme fit that we haven't seen before plus the fact that I'm sure the Chiefs will try pretty hard to keep him makes me think it's a very long shot to happen.

if you recall before berry's draft, he was regarded as one of the best safety prospects and some had said maybe the closest to Sean Taylor we had seen.

 

he's not that freaky, but he is pretty crazy athletic and a total difference maker in the secondary. Just because kc doesn't use him like we would, doesn't mean he can't. He would instantly be the best guy in our secondary. On top of that he's a smart player with a lot of experience and would improve the players around him.

 

not to be too snide, but I'd bet he has a pretty mean spider chart too.
