I was happy to hear DC acknowledge that Sample is more a strong safety, similar to Cyprien.  Following the draft, I seem to remember they were spoon feeding us that Sample would be a good transition to a free safety. 

 

I think they liked picking up House, a low-mileage veteran in the secondary this year,  It would not surprise me to see DC find a similar free safety, if he is not able to garner one of the top big safety names in free agency.  As mentioned by an earlier post, the FS is often the captain of the secondary, making the calls.  A veteran back there would be preferred in my mind, rather than a rookie.
