You really looking at a guys head coaching record to say he isnt a good position coach? come on now, there are plenty of great position coaches that were bad head coaches. 

 

And your only looking at the bad, what about not having a pass rush effecting the play of the DBs 

 

Plus Covlin lead all DBs in sacks and House broke the team record for pass break ups and was 3rd in the NFL, are you gonna give him credit for that?
