   The Seahawks have played home games in snow, ice,  wind,  rain,  and a combination of all of these elements.   But certainly nothing close to the cold temp.  and wind chill that awaits them in Minneapolis.  

 

   Pete Carroll was on Bud Grant's final Vikings coaching staff.  By then,  the Vikes were playing in the Metrodome.    But being that Carroll was on the team's coaching staff for several years more after Jerry Burns got a promotion to HC,    Carroll knows as well as anyone what Minneapolis winters are like.    The Seahawks will be as prepared as a team can be under the circumstances.
