Why weren't Caldwell and other scouts concerned with Fowler's explosion?

Quote:Mayock has a nice track record and I will take his word over you message board scouting any day.

"I seem to be in the minority with the media people, having Dante Fowler at No. 1," Mayock said via conference call this week. "He reminds me a little bit of a (Chiefs OLB) Justin Houston. I think he’s going to be 255 to 260 (lbs.). I’m interested where Gregory and Shane Ray and Beasley are. They’ve all been kind of quoted anywhere between 225 and 240 (lbs.), so Fowler is going to be 15 or 20 pounds heavier than any of them, and I think just as explosive."

Jeremiah: Dante Fowler safest pick of NFL draft's edge rushers

"Dante Fowler, we saw it consistently from him his last year," Davis said. "People wondered about his first few years (at Florida), but there isn't that much concern to me. I think he's the real deal."

They see the same as I did. I think ill take Mayocks, Jeremiah, and Charles Davis's thoughts on it over yours. If he can return 100% from his injury I dont have any doubt.
I'll take my own eyes over what some guys wearing make up tell me to think. They've been wrong as often as right. Let me know if you find a quote from them saying that Fowler's production wasn't scheme based. It's on tape for everyone to see. Just take a good open_minded, honest look for yourself.
