Why weren't Caldwell and other scouts concerned with Fowler's explosion?

Unlike you, I'm referencing his entire NFL experience.  While you cherry pick only what's convenient from his college experience.

 

Riddle me this... why was it only just before the draft were draftnicks talking about Fowler, instead of during his entire career like Clowney?

 

It was because we telegraphed the pick and everyone was expecting us to take the local kid.  Certainly not because he was seen as the best pick.  In fact, his college productivity wasn't really there until he lost about 15 pounds his final year in school.
