Some of the best athletes in the NFL have torn their ACL. Some of the worst athletes have tore their ACL also.It doesn't matter how athletic you are if you land awkwardly or plant the wrong way you can tear it.


Adrian Peterson,Jamaal Charles,Gronk,Von Miller,Honey badger,Thomas Davis, RG3...few examples of guys who would be considered elite athletes at their position and have torn their ACL.
