I think .500 or better keeps the HC around regardless of a playoff berth. 

 

Those clamoring about the 2016 schedule should consider what your thoughts in August were about teams like:

Carolina, Arizona, Baltimore, Indy, NYJ, SF, NO, and KC.  

None of those teams really did what they were "supposed to" according to most popular opinion. 

2016 - like every season - will be the same. A few of those teams that look daunting now won't be when we face them while others will be tougher than anticipated.  That list of teams means little right now, IMO.
