I agree that he's worth a late-round pick, and given the failure of Gerhart, the struggles of D-Rob, the uncertainty that comes with Gray and Grant's status as an ok special teamer but not an option in the backfield, I could absolutely see the Jags spending a 5th-7th round pick on a running back.

Come on, he's a Taylor. If you gave him the choice between being drafted and being undrafted, I promise you he'd take Mr. Irrelevant over spending early May in post-draft tryouts.

I'd agree with that assessment. Nothing overly special about him beyond his name, but decent enough that he'll get a look. It's worth noting that Jarrett Payton, Walter's son, went undrafted, so being Freddy T's kid isn't going to guarantee him anything beyond a spot in someone's post-draft workouts.
