Which they can do. It is okay to not be a diehard fan. I don't get the mentality that gets offended. Why would anyone here care what some random person they have never met think of them as a fan anyhow? Diehard fans don't sit on the couch and watch their team in comfortable conditions. The words do have some meaning. You can't just change what the word means because people get offended.


I remember a while back I made some post about Superfans and forgot the term for average fan or whatever. I simply made the post just to see how riled up everyone would get at the terms. People were upset, offended, arguing and it served the point well. Don't worry about what someone else thinks about you. If you're a fan then you don't need someone else to tell you you are. And if you are defending yourself to that extreme then you are basically arguing for the person you are arguing against.
