Cruz Undisclosed Loan from Goldman Sachs
|
Quote:The more i think about it the more it doesn't matter, especially if it is being repaid. The non disclosure is the problem. Yeah, well he's selling himself as an "outsider" and a "rebel" and criticizing Trump for his "New York Values." Turns out he's got some pretty powerful friends on Wall Street and he's not averse to taking advantage of it. The guy writes in his book (paraphrasing) "we mortgaged everything and put it all into my Senate campaign..." leaving out the part where he got a million dollar loan from Goldman Sachs. I think it reveals him to be just another Republican politician with ties to Wall Street. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just that he's selling himself as a "man of the people." What did he do for Goldman Sachs? What did Goldman Sachs do for him? Legitimate questions. |
