I agree with this. The Jaguars have had a few seasons where lack of OT depth killed their chances. There are some interesting names out there, but all of them after Cordy Glenn carry injury concerns and may ultimately need to sit out a couple games. It's nice knowing we have at least someone for depth who the team can rally around in a clinch. Sam Young is not that guy.


 

That said, as for his trade value I'm thinking round two. Typically LTs capable of playing well enough in this league are found early in round one. If you look back at OTs taken in round two, very few pan out. At best you're talking about a guy like Joekel. Third round OTs are virtually all backups. At the very least you could easily say that Joekel is a better option than any potential third round OT. With this in mind I'd ask for a 2nd but would take a 3rd, although I'd kind of still rather keep him for depth. No way would I even consider a 4th.
