When you look at the whole picture of the teams you posted your argument looks terrible when it comes to OOC.


So FSU being drug in this now? Jimbo went on record a few yew years ago stating he'd like the lighter scheduling when it comes to OOC. This season was Texas State, USF, UT Chatt, UF.

 

You can't include ND as scheduling as this game is now a mandatory one every few years since ND is using the ACC part time. They didn't actively go out to schedule them, it's not OOC

First, I was speaking of the Notre Dame schedule from a few years ago.  So, yes, they did actively go out and schedule them.
 
Second, I wasn't dragging FSU into this.  I was using FSU and Alabama as examples (one being from the rival division, the other a main rival).  With that said, there is no comparison in schedules.  Yes, UF has played FSU 24 times since 1991.  However, UF has scheduled no other opponents from the Power-5.  The same can not be said for FSU.
 
Third, I would be completely fine if Alabama or another team from the SEC West scheduled ZERO OOC opponents from the Power 5. They play in by far the best division in the Power 5, not the by far very worst like the Gators.  If you play in the SEC East, you dont play anybody.  
 
Look at only last 5 years:
 
In their division alone, Alabama has faced 19 ranked opponents (7 top 10).
Florida has only faced 8 ranked opponents (2 top 10).
