It's simply a reflection of how tough the position is to play. Joekel allows way too much pressure from his LT spot, as would any 3rd round OT and most 2nd round OTs. If I were a team having already made my first and second round picks and I still need a starting LT with Joekel on the table as a possible trade, I very well might consider Joekel my best option. Meanwhile, Joekel would be a better backup LT, with the potential to develop even more as he's still rather young, than anyone a team might find after round three which is why I wouldn't even entertain an offer for a 4th round pick. I'd rather just keep Joekel for depth while bringing in a guy like Kelvin Beachum or Russell Okung to start. It wouldn't even sweat me that these two are somewhat injury prone because I have Joekel for depth just in case.
