That's might be the biggest loser mentality I've ever heard. This upcoming season is all about wins. He doesn't win. He's gone. He should have won the division this year with the way it played it out but low and behold, the team underachieved. Injuries you might say? Yea... Colts lost Luck. Biggest injury in our division. Texans lost Hoyer for some games and Foster for pretty much the whole season.


Gus is coming back so we all must deal. So far he's shown nothing that makes him a good coach. This season he's gotta prove to Khan that he can actually win because ultimately, it's about winning. Not just competing, which so many think is the goal.

 

It makes me wonder, if Shad and Dave didn't consider 2013 and 2014 to count, then why didn't they give Gus a five or six year contract from the start? Why only give him two years to make it work? Considered that way it's obviously just a horrifically poor excuse by Dave that Gus has done so poorly, and unless Shad considers them inextricably linked he probably should have thrown Gus under the Gus Bus and looked to get a real coach in the building to make sure his drafts don't end up helping out the next GM and coach.
