We got mid/late round picks for those guys.  That would have been nice a couple years ago but that's getting old.  We're in win-now mode.  Time for depth and competition.   Unless I knew I was trading for another player of more value, I wouldn't trade for any pick.  And I'm assuming teams aren't stupid enough to give up a pick for pure garbage.  My point is if other teams want them, it's more likely than not that we are trading away depth or talent.  But why?  It's not for salary cap reasons.  The only players we should be getting rid of right now should have no trade value whatsoever (which would explain why they are at the very heart of our failures).  Can we trade Branch or Clemons for a mid round pick?  That would be more interesting.
