Just an interesting thought I had. I wonder if Lee's acceleration (which is top shelf stuff) and overall difference to Hurns/Robinson threw Bortles off a little bit. I would imagine Bortles' strategy when throwing to Hurns/Robinson is to throw ahead of them more so than Lee or even Thomas. Hurns/Robinson have extreme reach/catching radius, Lee doesn't.

It could be that Bortles simply throws better to Robinson's type than Lee's type. I noticed the same thing with Rodgers in his first couple starting years. I don't doubt for a second Bortles can adapt just the same so long Lee stays healthy. I may have judged Lee a little too fast without thinking of all the variables.

Can't wait to see whats next.
