Here's the thing with these types of ratings.  They aren't transitive to other ranking systems in that you can't compare the actual numbers to other sites and have a straight up comparison.

 

What you can do, as the OP has, is compare them to past rankings of the same scale.

 

In general, I find them to be a very good source.  Again, when comparing them to themselves when dealing in specific grades.

 

NFL.com and cbssports are the two "rankings" sites I probably reference most, but as always... take any with a grain of salt.  What you can also take is the order of the rankings vs other sources to see if there's consensus among them.  Most are in a similar ballpark, but the most interesting are those that vary wildly.

 

Refreshing that I have yet to see anyone go with the invented "edge" designation that was the rage in 2015, and are respectfully and more accurately placing them at DE or OLB.  Time will show, IMO, that they fell back on that in 2015 due to the high number of rush OLBs and guys that didn't necessarily translate well at RDE at the NFL level, those who would likely transition into rush OLBs or play on designated rush situations (roles like "leo" or DPR.)  In other words, the analysts couldn't clearly project what position many if not most of them would play next, so they all were put under the "edge" category as a result.
