95% of black people who vote vote democrat.  95% of black people don't rely on welfare.  95% of black people have been told that Republicans are really just klansman who want to hang them.  

 

I say this as a black republican.  I cried when Florida was put into Bush's column in 2000.  I didn't sleep for three days.  I embarked on a personal mission to destroy they guy.  I was going to listen to every word he said to help fuel my efforts to volunteer and campaign for his challenger in 2004.  

 

I watched speeches and appearances.  He never really got around to the whole hanging or keeping the black man down part.  He just kept talking about low taxes low regulation and opportunity.  Then when i went off to college i got my first job.   I was then introduced to my business partner FICA.  I've been a republican ever since.  

 

My point is this, you're not going to get 95% agreement on any policy proposal from any demographic.  What you have is an emotional belief based on years of conditioning marketing and branding.  There are a natural amount of pro business pro opportunity minorities that vote democrat because of what someone says about republicans more than what republicans actually say.  Now we have Trump who's bringing in tens of millions of new viewers to the debate and primary process.  there's a Built in amount of minorities that are going to here an economic message they haven't been exposed to before that they already agree with.
