The goal line running issues in 2015 had more to do with Beadles, Wiz and Joeckel than any of the backs IMO. 

No doubt the interior was an issue, and should get better as Cann gets stronger, return of Linder, and upgrade it as a whole. But, as I said, this might have played a role into why TJ wasn't called upon to run in the goal line. If you expect that the three interior guys aren't going to open a huge hole, do you want a guy who's going to dance and try to bounce it outside or cut? Or would you rather get a guy who tries to make the best of what little hole (if any) the OL creates?

 

IMO, yes the interior OL had their faults (its not like we only struggled in the redzone, we struggled in short yardage as a whole, including QB sneaks which is the ultimate proof of no push from interior). But my guess is TJ's running style played a factor on why he didn't get the carries in those situations
