A wheeler-dealer like Trump is much more likely to be swayed by money than an ideologue like Cruz. 2. The Constitution is not at all "very clear" on that topic. It all depends on how one interprets the term "natural born citizen." It has generally been interpreted in the way that make Cruz eligible, but our Nine Old Ivy League Rulers have never ruled on it. 3. Ben Carson got a higher vote percentage than the pre-election polls predicted. Cruz didn't siphon votes away from him. 4. And every candidate uses group psychology. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" |
