Flint, MI water supply tainted by chemicals

Quote:I'll take these facts that show there is still a long way to go over the fiction being dependent on fossil fuels in any way makes us a safer or cleaner country. Nothing in this report contradicts anything I have read in multiple other outlets on this subject, but I give you an A for skepticism. I agree there is still a long way to go. Right now energy storage technology isn't close to being ready for intermittent sources like solar and wind to be viable alternatives. There is right now a non-intermittent cost-competitive alternative to fossil fuels, namely nuclear power. Recent designs re-use the waste products and would cut the final waste by 90%. Politics and misinformation has killed that possibility. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" |
