Last year Torrey Smith got 5 yr 40M deal, Randall Cobb got a 4yr 40M, and Maclin got 5yr 55M, would not surprise me to see him and his agent try to get in that ballpark.

The thing about Hurns is that he's realistically two seasons away from hitting the market and there is a whole lot of football to be played between now and then. Injuries are a big part of the game and there have been plenty of players who have fallen off after having some good seasons, though I don't think Hurns will be one of those guys.

I doubt he and his agent would want to lock him into a five year deal at around $5million per season, but I could see them taking something along the lines of 4 years/$25million, especially if it's front loaded. He's going to be making the minimum next season and only a couple million in 2017 when he's tendered as an RFA. I think it would be pretty tough to turn down a deal that could net him over $6 million per season over the next two years especially considering everything that can happen in football. With that contract, he'd essentially be forgoing his first two seasons of free agency to guarantee himself some decent money in the short term.
