This same philosophy is what Dave is talking about, the FS should be the defensive field general..  with the most vision and awareness and is often very much more athletic than a QB.. do you need the best FS in the league no,... but it is extremely tough to find tier 1 FS because people with that size strength awareness vision and athleticism is hard, these players usually migrate towards offense for the bigger paycheck. I agree with Dave about 95%
