Trivial things that annoy you..
|
I'm in school for medical billing and coding and am learning about the insurance aspect of it which most of the basic stuff I already know.
As a person who has had some surgeries, physical therapy and other stuff, it grinds my gears that insurance carriers are most often the ones who determine whether a certain level of treatment, prescriptions, medical gear, etc., is necessary or not. Not the physician. I know there's a reason for a certain level of authorization required by insurance companies, but sometimes it's just ridiculous. This is not trivial I suppose but an annoyance nonetheless. |
