It'll be interesting to see what the selection committee will do.  Will they select teams based on who they think is best.  Or who they think is most deserving.  Or some combination of both.  I imagine with the large numbers of members, each will have their own criteria.  Some may just rank their top 4 teams regardless of anything else.  Some may look at the 4 best conference winners.  

 
 

This same argument came up a couple years ago with the Bama/LSU rematch. How can you be the best team in the country if you aren't even best in your conference? I thought it was bullcrap that they had Alabama stay over OkSt even though they won their conference.
