The idea being floated is that he plays MLB on third downs and distance passing downs.  To me -  doing that with the thought of him bulking up over time to take over full time Mike when he's ready does make some sense. And it would also help the team in coverage in the short term. 

 

Doesn't Kuechly play at 235?  I think Jack can get to that weight in short order when he's 100% healthy and hitting the gym.
