Dave Caldwell combine press conference

Quote:The scoop: "We have eight draft picks and we'll devote a large portion of those to the defensive side of the ball. The first three years were focused on the offensive side of the ball and that side will continue to mature. And now it's really time to focus on the defense." -- Jaguars GM David CaldwelWhether by coincidence or well though out planning and projection, Dave has done a terrific job of lining up their needs with the strengths of the draft. The ONLY offensive player I could imagine them taking somewhat early would be guard in the 3rd, someone like Tretola. But, I still think that would be a long shot with the overall defensive strength of this draft and our obvious needs. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
