BUT... there's that waiting period where the Dolphins get to sit on the deal while we watch other free agents go elsewhere. And believe me, even if they don't intend to match the offer, they will sit on this deal just to punish us a little.


So, if we get into making a deal with Vernon, and even if we make a deal, I expect some uncomfortable days as we wait and wait and wait for the outcome.


I think John Idzik is still on the squad. We have more than enough people to offer other deals lol.
