I understand why they didn't pick Bortles because he played from behind and threw more interceptions. Once we get the run game going and a better defense Bortles numbers will likely drop and his interceptions will drop as well. Maybe his completion % was inflated by teams being forced to stack the box against AP. Did Bortles have that luxury when playing from behind so often with a significantly worse run game? Bridgewater threw 14 TDs but 9 INTs. that is not good. |
